The Arriel 2C and 2C2 variants power several Airbus Helicopters Dauphin models. The Arriel 2C powers the AS365N3+, a 4.3-ton, twin-engine helicopter capable of carrying twelve passengers. It also powers the Chinese Z9 manufactured by Avicopter. The Arriel 2C is capable of a take-off power of 839 shp, a cruise power of 779 shp and a maximum power, via the One Engine Inoperative (OEI) rating, of 962 shp. Certified in 2002, the Arriel 2C2 powers the H155, a 4.9-ton, twin-engine helicopter capable of carrying 13 passengers. The Arriel 2C2 is capable of a take-off power of 944 shp, a cruise power of 853 shp and a maximum power, via the One Engine Inoperative (OEI) rating, of 1054 shp. A variant of the Arriel 2C2, the 2C2CG, was selected to re-engine the US Coast Guards' fleet of MH-65C Dolphin helicopters for sea rescue operations. The first of these engines were delivered in 2004 and the first re-engined Dolphin entered service in 2005. During 2015, the US Coast Guard will mark one million flight hours using this Arriel variant. The Arriel 2C2CG was also selected to modernize the Brazilian Army's AS565 Panthers.
